Fretting about FAFSA?

Seniors, FAFSA helps you get federal funding (money) for college. A definite must if you want to avoid lots of debt when you get out of college.

It can be challenging to complete, but it is well worth it! I've listed the deadline dates below:

Federal Deadline - June 30, 2011

Florida State Deadline - May 15, 2011

College Deadline - Each college may have a different deadline. Check with the college(s) you are interested in.

P.S. - I've heard that if you're going to SPC, they are very helpful in getting you through the FAFSA application process!

LCS Explore and Plan tests coming up...don't sweat it

8th, 9th and 10th graders will be taking our annual ACT Explore and Plan tests here at Lakeside Christian School on Monday, March 21st, and Tuesday, March 22nd.

What can you do to be ready?

Eat a nice breakfast so you don't get "hangry"
and bring a pencil & calculator with you

Don't be nervous, we've all had to take these tests...just try your best!

The best way to kick off a successful senior year is to start it off with taking your SAT/ACT tests at the end of your junior year. The sooner you take these tests, the sooner you find out where you're going to be spending the next 4 years of your life at. Ready to get started?
